Homeowners Beware!

As your Medicare Insurance Broker, I encourage you to schedule a time on my calendar every year to make sure your coverage is up to date.

It’s equally important to review your homeowners coverage with an independent property & casualty broker as well.

Understand the deductibles, make sure your valuable items are scheduled and have your broker shop the rates so you are not surprised.

I work with the same clients for years and years and clients appreciate that I am not tied to a single Medicare Insurance Company.

The same is true of Property and Casualty Brokers that are independent.

Find one that you like and trust who works hard for you.

Here’s an article to get educated.

And if you have questions about Medicare, or Medicare insurance, book the time on my calendar here.

My job is to help you take the mystery out of Medicare :-)!

Hello, this is Karl Bruns-Kyler with the Big 65 Medicare insurance services and today I want to talk about avoiding Medicare trolls.

My Medicare clients tell me they are being bombarded by ads promising thousands of dollars.

Don’t be fooled. Every plan has trade-offs, but most of these advertisements talk about benefits that you are not eligible for.

If you want to get the facts on what plans are available in your zip code, book a time on my calendar below.

I promise to give you just a facts.

Do I Need To Review My Medicare Insurance Coverage?

I hope you are having a great week as the weather starts to turn cooler :).

The Medicare Annual Election Period begins in October.

In September, your current carrier should be sending you a copy of the Annual Notice of Changes.

Here, you will be able to read how your plan will be changing for 2022.

If you are not happy with the changes, or you are just unsure if your Medicare Insurance plan is still appropriate for you…

Do You Have Mental Flexibility?

Hi, this is Karl with the Big 65 Medicare Insurance Services and I hope you’re having a great week.

My wife and I are in Iceland climbing a glacier near Reykjavik and today I want to talk about the importance of mental flexibility.

You know, it’s so easy to get lost in our heads when things go wrong for us.

This week, we were waiting for a tour to start, we went to the meeting place, we sat there for two hours and waited and stewed in our own anger.

Then we realized there was nothing we could do about it and how LUCKY we were to be here at all.

So remember, when you find yourself starting to get cranky, reframe and remember the good things that are going on, because there’s always something good!

Here’s a great article.

That’s it for this week, if you have questions about Medicare, book a time on my calendar here.

Getting Old Ain’t For Sissies!

Greetings Medicare Insurance Seeker!

Getting old ain’t for sissies!

That’s what one of my old neighbors said, he was a retired World War II veteran and he certainly had the privilege to say it.

As we age, we get older. The older we get, the more our body wears down.

As we look in the mirror, we see new wrinkles, we feel new pain, we experience new things.

The most important thing is not what happens to us, but how we choose to respond.

I have a close friend who was diagnosed with a very debilitating disease. I am constantly amazed by his ability to put things in perspective to continue to improve himself and to do the best you can for himself and his family.

Remember to reframe, put things in perspective and give thanks for what you have.

Here’s a great article to think about.

That’s it for this week, if you have any questions about Medicare insurance options, book a time here on my calendar.
