Why do we need life insurance?
Simply stated, life insurance protects the living, the people who depend on you and your financial contribution.
If you were to die suddenly, would those who depend on your pension, your social security or your working income suddenly become impoverished? If so, it might make sense to add insurance coverage.
Conversely, some people have policies they don’t need any longer. Their homes are paid off; their pensions continue even if they die.
If you have a policy you haven’t reviewed in the last 18 months, schedule time my calendar and find out if your coverage is appropriate for where you are in your life and in your personal commitments.
