The Annual Election Period begins October 15th😱. If you’d like us to review your coverage for 2027, please start by emailing Gray at Gray@TheBig65.com. He’ll get the process started. The part D drug plans no longer work with brokers😢so we can’t sign you up but if you are patient, we promise to make recommendations and show you how to do it.

What a delight to be home in Colorado in October. The weather has been amazing.
Before we went overseas to visit our son, I lost my favorite ballcap and bought a replacement.
Six weeks later, my favorite hat shows up on top of the bluffs, on a bench with a rock keeping it in place, just sitting there, waiting for me😮.
If that doesn’t give you faith in the kindness of people, nothing will.
Now that we are home, we are getting the bees 🐝 ready for winter. It’s time consuming but rewarding🍯.
As you prepare for the Annual Election Period, here are steps you can take to get ready.
If you have a Medicare Supplement Plan, these plans roll over automatically. As long as you keep paying the premiums, the plans keep working.
If the premium is making you cranky, reach out and, if you are healthy (or in a Birthday Rule State), shoot us an email and we will shop your Medicare Supplement premium.
If you have a part D drug plan and it’s working well, it can roll over as well.
If you are unsure of the changes, start by calling the member services number on the back of your card and find out if your plan is changing. If the premium is going up, make sure you update the payment process (coupon book, bank draft, or deducted from Social Security.
If your drug plan doesn’t look right, that’s when you will reach out to Gray.
Some clients have received letters from their providers that they are no longer taking their Medicare Advantage Plans.
Some clients have also received letters that their Medicare Advantage Plan is going away. If you are unsure, please call Member services first and then book a time on my calendar.

Every year, some clients make this mistake, so beware!
If anyone reaches out, ask for their insurance license number and who gave them permission to call? Watch them disappear👻.
October is always one of the most beautiful months of the year. Take a few minutes to review your coverage, make sure all is well (reach out to us if it isn’t).
