Autumn came quickly to Colorado 🍂. We had a beautiful Indian summer, and then overnight it dropped 30 degrees 🥶. Fortunately, we’d already blown out the sprinklers. 💦
October is easily our favorite month: amazing weather, the changing of the seasons, and best of all, Halloween! 🎃👻🦇
Plato loves October too 🐶. He’s getting older (almost 12), so the cooler temps make walking easier. Plus, he loves the Halloween attention. 🧡
Every time we walk or bike in the hills 🚴♂️⛰️, I drop a stone on the cairn 🪨. It’s one of those rituals that reminds me how vast the world is and how little time we truly have.
Our daughter Sus came down for the weekend 🥰. Of course I had to carve one pumpkin 🎃🔪, and my wife Q had to roast the seeds 🌰 so the traditions don’t go away.
Catching up with so many clients reminds me, again and again, how easy it is to take the little things for granted and how quickly life can change. 💭
So this weekend, spend time with the people you love ❤️. Call an old friend 📞. Pull out the art supplies and paint (that means you, Steve! 🎨😉). Carve a pumpkin. 🎃
